Granite Mountain Studio & Project Zero Day

Granite Mountain Studio is an independent recording and production studio focused on creating original, guitar-driven music with a modern, cinematic edge. In 2025 and 2026, the studio became the home of Project Zero Day, an independent metal project built around original songwriting, live performance, and experimental production.

During this period, Project Zero Day developed and recorded two releases: Project Zero Day and System Failure Imminent. The music explores themes of technology, isolation, conflict, survival, and a world approaching the breaking point.

A distinctive part of the Project Zero Day sound is its unique songwriting and recording approach. Original songs are performed and recorded live, capturing the energy and imperfections of real musicianship, then blended with AI-assisted production and sound design during the mixing process. This combination of live performance and emerging technology creates a different sonic character—raw and organic at its foundation, but layered with unconventional textures and modern production elements.

Together, Granite Mountain Studio and Project Zero Day represent an independent approach to music creation, combining live musicianship, original songwriting, AI-assisted experimentation, and a post-apocalyptic visual identity to create music that is both heavy and atmospheric.
